Brevet General Tugg M. Hardmore (Ret.) is the original architect of the Department of War's Transition Assistance Program (TAP) & firm believer in doing things the "hard way". With over 150 years of “post-military experience,” Gen. Hardmore is committed to ensuring that today’s transitioning service members receive the same proven advice that served him well during Reconstruction; because it absolutely is still applicable! After transitioning from the military in 1865, he secured employment through the time-honored method of a telegram, carrier pigeon, and a saber demonstration. Gen. Hardmore is opposed to shortcuts & modern conveniences to land a SkillBridge or post-service job. He has a particular disdain for Milivate, which he refers to as “the gateway to career degeneracy—slick, soulless, and suspiciously efficient.” How could anyone enjoy "easy" when it come to searching & applying for SkillBridge and job opportunities? He insists that any system not requiring parchment or pigeon is unfit for serious men & women leaving the uniform. Above all, Tugg insists transitioning service members never use Milivate for it is far too intuitive, dangerously efficient, and utterly lacking in the character-building misery that should come about searching for a SkillBridge or post-separation career!
