De Nederlandse Vereniging Medische Beeldvorming en Radiotherapie (NVMBR) is de beroepsvereniging van MBB'ers (Medisch Beeldvormings- en Bestralingsdeskundigen). MBB'ers zijn werkzaam op afdelingen radiologie, nucleaire geneeskunde en radiotherapie in de ziekenhuizen. In de eerste lijn in diagnostische centra of voor het uitvoeren van het echografisch onderzoek. Met elkaar zorgen we ervoor dat het beroep goed kunnen uitoefenen en dat het werk interessant blijft, zodat we trost kunnen zijn op ons beroep. Daarom is de NVMBR op allerlei gebieden actief om onder andere de kwaliteit van de medische beeldvorming en radiotherapie in Nederland te borgen en te verhogen. De NVMBR is gesprekspartner voor de overheid en andere instanties.
De missie van de NVMBR luidt: de Nederlandse Vereniging Medische Beeldvorming en Radiotherapie is door zijn professionele uitstraling, betrokkenheid en openheid; bekend en gerespecteerd als de organisatie van deskundige beroepsbeoefenaren.
