The New York City Department of Probation offers a dynamic and uniquely rewarding opportunity to become an agent of change in communities throughout the five boroughs. Probation Officers earn a starting salary of $42,759 with longevity and other pay increments after 2, 3, 5, 7.5, 10, 12, 15 and 20 years of service and are required to have a Baccalaureate degree.
