OC Learn is a not for profit organisation that provides e-learning strategies that provide information, resources and tools to empower individuals protect and maintain their benefit income following the culture changes and cuts introduce by the welfare reform acts 2012 and 2015. Our team specialises in Education, Training, Welfare Rights and Money Advice. Together we have developed the Benefit Changes Programme that brings together accurate, up to date, relevant information, guidance and tools all in one place . Statistics have shown that many of the people who are struggling with benefit sanctions and losing their disability benefits are doing so because they do not fully understand the new rules and claiming criteria. This is compounded by the media attacks on benefit claimants who are also made to feel ashamed and embarrassed about receiving benefits. The Benefit Changes Programme can be accessed on a computer, laptop, tablet and even games computers, such as Xbox or PlayStation, so long as the device is connected to the internet either wired or wireless. The programme talks users through what to expect and how to prepare for the changes from the comfort and privacy of their own home at their own pace, without having to discuss their personal information with a third party.
