Ocean Cables Ltd., solves problems and adds value to our clients projects through 30 plus years of design, production and marine operations experience. We offer consultancy services to everyone in the subsea cables industry- mostly project, R&D, quality, technical services and skilled, knowledgable personnel. Almost all of our clients are referrals. It’s a small industry so reliability, track-record, respect, confidentiality and professionalism are key values. Over the last 20 years Ocean Cables Ltd has been involved as an independent consultant with many international clients covering CLV new builds ( specifications, equipment selection design approvals, documentation review, FAT, commissioning etc), cable factory audits, cableship inspections and audits, due diligence, cable failure investigations (FMECA, RCFA reporting), searching for the proverbial needle in the haystack (we have keen eyesight). We work on Subsea optical cables, umbilical cables and with some HV cable projects. Clients are system suppliers, marine installers, cable owners, other consultants and equipment and cable protection suppliers.
Ocean Cables Ltd., was founded by Dr Jerry Brown in 2003 and is celebrating 20 years of Independent Consultancy Services to over 30 clients in the subsea cable industry.
