Die Organisation der Arbeitswelt KomplementärTherapie (OdA KT) ist als Verein organisiert und umfasst 32 Berufs- und Methodenverbände, deren insgesamt etwa 7000 Mitglieder deine oder mehrere Methoden der Komplementärtherapie praktizieren.
Hauptaufgabe der OdA KT ist es, unter Aufsicht des Bundes die Höhere Fachprüfung (HFP) für KomplementärTherapeut*innen durchzuführen. Sie bündelt zudem die Interessen der ihr angeschlossenen Berufs-, Methoden- und Schulverbände und entwickelt nationale Standards für die Höhere Berufsbildung. Sie ist Ansprechperson für Behörden, Versicherer und andere Institutionen.
Die OdA KT führt nebst der Höheren Fachprüfung KomplementärTherapie die Verfahren Methodenanerkennung, Akkreditierung von Ausbildungen, ein Gleichwertigkeitsverfahren für Praktizierende sowie eine Zulassung von Supervisor*innen durch.
