OFEK ist die erste Fachberatungsstelle in Deutschland, die auf Antisemitismus und Community-basierte Beratung spezialisiert ist. Seit der Gründung 2017 (Vereinsgründung 2019) bietet OFEK gezielte Unterstützung nach Vorfällen auf Deutsch, Englisch, Hebräisch und Russisch an. Alle Beratungsanfragen werden vertraulich und auf Wunsch anonym behandelt. OFEK orientiert sich an den Beratungsstandards der Opferberatung und nimmt sich aller Fälle an – ungeachtet ihrer strafrechtlichen Relevanz. OFEK ist über die bundesweite Hotline, per Mail und auch per Chat erreichbar und in BadenWürttemberg, Berlin, Hessen, Sachsen und Sachsen-Anhalt mit eigenen Büros vertreten. Neben den regionalen Standorten der Beratung trägt OFEK in Sachsen und in Sachsen-Anhalt zwei regionale RIAS-Meldestellen sowie in Kooperation mit der Zentralwohlfahrtsstelle der Juden in Deutschland die hebräischsprachige Unterstützungshotline MATAN.
