Founded in 2010, Offworld Games began as a vision to take immersive strategy gaming to the farthest reaches of your imagination. Our first game adapted the sci-fi epic Legion of the Damned, by William C. Dietz, to the mobile platform with a unique storytelling format using graphic novel cutscenes.
Our next title, Finest Hour, let players battle it out with tanks on the fields of World War II, introducing a “permadeth” mechanic, forcing players to weigh every decision against the threat of permanently losing your hard-earned ordinance in battles.
In our most recent project, we expanded to the desktop platform, adapting Reiner Knizia's board game, The Confrontation. We followed this up with a Kickstarter-funded Variant Mode DLC, introducing 18 additional characters in a new game-play mode. The Variant Mode DLC was released on October 27th, 2016.
