As the founder of Oiprofit, Matthew is a CPA and a seasoned business leader with almost two decades of experience in finance and accounting. He has worked in both CFO and VP/director level roles across a broad range of industries.
Matthew has a passion for driving profitability and efficiency. He founded Oiprofit in 2024 with the vision of helping business owners do the same. "Oi" means "hello" in Portuguese (a language that Matthew both speaks and loves), so in essence, "Oiprofit" means "hello profit". Matthew wants to help each business owner that he partners with to find and welcome profit into their business. Businesses that focus on profit first are able to generate strong cash flow, maintain healthy reserves, and can provide their owners with lower financial stress and a better work life balance than they might otherwise.
