The association OlyNet is a non-profit association of technically interested students in the Olympiadorf dormitory in Munich. The purpose of the association is generally to help students, i.e. to help and advise the more than 2000 residents of the dormitory with all IT and technology-related problems and, in order to ensure their own continued existence, also to sell tailored and adapted hardware (especially routers).
In addition, the members of OlyNet devote themselves to their own projects of all kinds. In addition to IT administration, software development on a wide variety of platforms and target devices, electronics development, planning and design of larger IT systems, this also includes the organization of topic-related events, lectures, 3D printing, accounting and finance as well as public relations and maintaining contacts.
OlyNet wants to help all motivated and committed students to gain initial or further experience in dealing with these topics and offer a platform to implement their own ideas.
