L'OMGA du Cantal n'établit pas les comptes et ne tient pas la comptabilité de ses adhérents. Dans ce sens, afin de ne pas confondre les rôles, les CGA réunis au sein de la FCGA (Fédération des Centres de Gestion Agréés), organisation nationale représentative de l'Institution, ont signé en 1995 un protocole d'accord avec l'Ordre des Experts-Comptables.
Le 26 juillet 2017, notre Centre de Gestion Agréé (CGA) s'est transformé en Organisme Mixte de Gestion Agréé (OMGA) permettant ainsi d'accueillir les professions libérales.
