Our journey began when we witnessed friends, fellow entrepreneurs, fall victim to outdated and ineffective marketing strategies. We saw the frustration of investing $4000 and 6 weeks into a new website only to receive a product that looked more 2004 than 2024. It was at that moment that we knew we had to step up and make a difference.
With a deep-rooted love for marketing, our founder spent his early days at his father's furniture store, experimenting with store layouts, signage, and even creating custom merchandise for the local wrestling team. This hands-on experience laid the foundation for a career dedicated to understanding consumer behavior and effective communication.
Transitioning from sales to marketing, our founder realized the importance of staying top-of-mind with customers, even when they are not ready to make a purchase. This insight led to the inception of On Deck Marketing, initially focusing on web design and social media management. However, as we engaged with small business clients, we recognized a broader need for comprehensive marketing solutions that encompassed customer engagement before, during, and after a sale.
