* While our sessions strengthen all 5 CASEL competencies, our primary and intentional focus is on the cultivation of self-awareness, self-regulation, and social awareness. Investing time purposefully nurturing these competencies can lay a firmer and more effective foundation for the relationship skills and responsible decision-making strategies which are often the emphasis of other SEL programs, like Second Step.
