Türk Tıbbi Onkoloji Derneği
Türk Tıbbi Onkoloji Derneği (TTOD), yedi kurucu üyesi olan, Bülent Berkarda, Metin Aran, Haluk Onat, Süheyla Serdengeçti, Necdet Üskent, Erkan Topuz ve Evin Büyükünal'ın başvurusu ile 1997 yılında kurulmuştur.
Ülkemizdeki tıbbi onkologların özlük haklarını savunmak, ihtiyaçlarının giderilmesini desteklemek, birlikte çalışma kültürünü geliştirmek, onkoloji alanındaki araştırmaları desteklemek, tıbbi onkoloji eğitim ve hizmet standartlarını yükseltmek, kanser hastalarının doğru ve bilimsel güncel tedaviye ulaşmasını sağlamak ve böylelikle ülkemizin tıbbi onkoloji alanındaki düzeyini yükseltmek TTOD'nin başlıca amaçları arasında yer almaktadır.
TTOD, hizmetlerini, İstanbul'da yer alan Dernek Genel Merkezinin koordinasyonunda ve tüm Türkiye çapında, yirmi yılı aşkın süredir, büyük bir hızla devam ettirmektedir.
Turkish Society of Medical Oncology
Turkish Society of Medical Oncology (TTOD) was established in 1997 with seven founding members, Bulent Berkarda, Metin Aran, Haluk Onat, Suheyla Serdengecti, Necdet Uskent, Erkan Topuz and Evin Buyukunal.
The our foundation is dedicated to advocate medical oncologists in our country to defend their personal rights, to support their needs, to develop collaborative cultures, to support oncology researches, to increase the standards of medical oncology education and services, to ensure that cancer patients reach accurate and scientific current care and thus raise the level of our country in medical oncology among others.
TTOD, which is located in Istanbul, renders its services in coordination with the association headquarters throughout Turkey, for more than twenty years.
