Wir sind Schweizer Open Data Akteure und engagieren uns für Open Data in der Schweiz. Gemeinsam arbeiten wir darauf hin, dass das Thema schweizweit flächendeckend etabliert ist.
Verschiedene Städte und Kantone veröffentlichen ihre Daten frei von Restriktionen. Die Geschäftsstelle Open Government Data des BFS (Bundesamt für Statistik) betreibt das nationale OGD-Portal opendata.swiss.
Mitentscheidend für den Erfolg von Open Data ist der Austausch zwischen jenen, die Daten publizieren und denjenigen, die sie letztlich nutzen. So kann auf beiderseitige Bedürfnisse und Anforderungen eingegangen werden und eine gemeinsame Stossrichtung gefunden werden.
Um diesen Austausch und diese Zusammenarbeit zu fördern, wurde Ende 2017 das «Open Data Beer» initiiert. Diese Netzwerk-Eventreihe richtet sich an alle Open-Data-Interessierten, egal ob aus der Verwaltung, aus Unternehmen oder aus der Zivilgesellschaft. Es sind alle herzlich eingeladen.
