The fund was established by the founders of the Atoll Holding group of companies, which is the official manufacturer and distributor of ŠKODA vehicles and spare parts in Ukraine. Accordingly, the fund's activities are being performed at the Eurocar plant, one of the holding’s facilities. The Holding facilitates the fund with logistical resources required for the prompt reception, sorting and delivery of humanitarian aid directly to the victims in the most affected regions.
Thanks to the Eurocar plant, the fund’s logistics has well-established routs enabling the coordinated delivery of humanitarian aid throughout Ukraine. We can deliver cargo from Europe by road and rail re-directing it to the most affected regions. Currently, the fund has been collecting humanitarian aid from regional authorities, government agencies, charitable partner organizations and individual patrons.
The logistics hub is located on the plant’s premises which has two storage facilities with an area of 7749 square meters and 1892 square meters respectively. The facilities are located on the border with Slovakia and Hungary. This allows for the prompt reception and efficient distribution of cargo throughout Ukraine. In addition, Eurocar has its own railway terminal with the general length of 1,470 m including the lines of European and Ukrainian types.
Open Mind Fund’s mission is to complete the following tasks:
• The first task is to deliver food, medicine and first necessities to the citizens of Ukraine who for certain reasons cannot leave the territories destroyed in the course of Russian hostilities.
• The second task is to provide refugees with temporary shelter. We have organized a shelter on the plant's premises for our employees and their families and we aim to extend this opportunity for other refugees across Ukraine.
• The third task is to develop software that will allow for transparent accounting of humanitarian aid.
