- בונים קהילה תומכת: נפגשים באופן קבוע בכדי לחזק את תחושות הביטחון העצמי והידיעה שיש עוד אנשים כמונו, שמבינים ומזדהים. בנוסף, מחזקים את התחושה שאין סיבה להתבייש או להסתגר בשל הפגיעה.
- מנטורינג ופיתוח אישי: מציעים תוכניות בכדי להעצים ולעזור לחברינו להשיב לעצמם את תחושת הערך העצמי והמסוגלות.
- העלאת מודעות: עובדים להעלאת המודעות החברתית לפגיעות מוחיות ולקידום שירותים רפואיים וחברתיים טובים יותר.
- סיוע למעגל התומך: מספקים משאבים ותמיכה למשפחות, שתפקודן הוא קריטי לתהליך השיקום.

Welcome to “Or Community”, a nonprofit dedicated to reintegrating those with brain injuries into family, social, and work spheres. Founded and led by individuals who have either experienced brain injuries or supported affected family members, we leverage personal insights to address these challenges effectively. Additionally, we collaborate with professional entities to offer resources and support.
What We Do:
- Meet regularly to enhance self-confidence and ensure no one feels alone, ashamed, or isolated due to a brain injury.
- Provide mentoring and personal development programs to empower our members to lead fulfilling lives.
- Actively raise awareness about brain injuries and advocate for improved medical and social services.
- Support family caregivers who play a crucial role in the recovery process.
