Grundsätzlich besteht meine Aufgabe darin, zu bestärken, zu inspirieren und zu motivieren. Veränderungen werfen immer viele Fragezeichen auf. Manche von ihnen machen uns Angst, andere machen uns müde oder wütend und dann gibt es noch die Fragezeichen, auf die wir uns freuen und denen wir uns neugierig an den Hals werfen.
Fragezeichen in Ausrufezeichen zu verwandeln ist im Coaching übrigens die Aufgabe meiner Coachees – nicht meine. Ich begleite AbsolventInnen, StudentInnen und Berufsstarter mit den richtigen Werkzeugen, ich ändere die Fragestellung und sorge dafür, den Überblick zu behalten. Manchmal bin ich eine Sparringspartnerin, manchmal die kraftspendende Stütze – und oft sogar beides während eines einzigen Termins.
Vor allem aber – und das ist in diesem Prozess das Wichtigste – bin ich eine neutrale Person, die meine Coachees und deren Gefühle genauso akzeptiert, wie sie sind. Mein Fokus liegt nicht in der Bewertung der Gegenwart, sondern auf der Zukunft.
