Rudolf Steiner hat 1924 die musikalisch-plastische Menschenkunde als Impuls gegeben, um das erste Goetheanum in seinem Grundimpuls wieder entstehen zu lassen. Diese neue Menschenkunde durchzieht alle Kurse und Ausbildungen, die von Atmani gehalten und gegeben werden.
Musik nimmt bei diesem Unterfangen eine zentrale Rolle an: Durch die Arbeit mit den Künsten wird eine plastisch-musikalische Menschenkunde geboren, die in der Wissenschaft ihren Halt findet. In der neuen Anschauung richtete das Orphideum auch den ersten Welt-Kymatik-Kongress aus, der Wissenschaft und Kunst verbinden möchte.
