Compare tents, rain jackets, sleeping bags, sleeping mats and hiking packs with ease for the best outdoor experience. Outdoor Gear Comparison was founded in 2021 by bushwalkers from Tasmania. Our goal is to help outdoor enthusiasts have a better outdoor experience by giving them more tools to find the most suitable equipment. The amount of equipment needed for hiking, especially in alpine conditions, can prove to be a barrier for newcomers. It can be overwhelming when researching big ticket purchases and our website is designed to streamline this process and educate our members so they are better informed when researching gear. We are not affiliated with any particular brand and we give all brands equal opportunity to represent their products. Our easy to use tool will search our global database and allow you to filter using the product specifications (weight, water rating, seasons etc). We love feedback and encourage our users to tell us what they do and don't love so we can continue to improve this tool for our awesome community
