La troupe Oya Kephale, fondée en 1995, se compose d'un chœur et d'un orchestre de 60 à 70 musiciens. Chaque saison débute avec la préparation d’un concert, qui est généralement donné à la mi-décembre, dans une église parisienne. Le programme varie selon les années. Gounod, Pergolèse, Vivaldi, Rutter, Mendelssohn, Schumann, … Le chœur et l’orchestre Oya Kephale proposent à leur public de nouvelles œuvres tous les ans.
En mai, la troupe se produit sur la scène du théâtre Armande Béjart (Asnières-sur-Seine). Elle monte depuis plus de 20 ans des œuvres lyriques de Jacques Offenbach : opéra-bouffe, opéra-comique, opéra-féerie… Oya Kephale se réjouit chaque année de proposer les œuvres connues et moins connues de ce compositeur prolixe du XIXème siècle.
Les bénéfices des concerts et des représentations sont versés à des associations choisies chaque année par vote des membres de la troupe.
