PACE Resources, Inc. was founded by the late Russell E. Horn, Sr. on November 1, 1970 to oversee its subsidiary companies and offer management support services and oversight to these professional and retail businesses. Headquartered in York, Pennsylvania, the PACE team originally provided accounting, financial services and human resources as well as legal and corporate communications. At one time, PACE subsidiaries included the following: Buchart Horn, Inc. /BASCO Associates; Buchart-Horn GmbH; B-H Computer Systems, B-H Laboratories, Inc.; Belcrest/Bentz Interiors; Lisiecki, Dorsey, Kohler and Purdy, Inc. ; Print-O-Stat, Inc. and Fast Copy Centers. Over the years, these standalone companies merged into two primary operating companies: Buchart Horn and Print-O-Stat, Inc. In 2015, based on strategic priorities and under the guidance of the late Russell E. Horn Jr., PACE Resources evolved into a financial holding company and integrated the administrative support provided to the operating companies within each company to better serve their needs.
