This impressive entertainment package will have 3 distinct segments: 1: Gourmet Dinner First is the excellent dinner catered by the award winning Chef Miles Togikawa. This will be served in a very elegant buffet style. During dinner, sit back and enjoy the music and video of the 1940s on the large screens throughout the ballroom including authentic newsreels and photography! 2: Broadway style performance Enjoy a full cast of the most talented singers and dancers in Hawaii! You’ll be tapping your toe and humming along with the sparkling singers and dancers as they entertain you with timeless music that continues to captivate the world. The costumes are dazzling; the performance is wholesome and energetic. From “Somewhere Beyond the Sea”, the orchestra’s theme song, to “Chattanooga Choo Choo”, to the hot tempos and intricate free style of the improvisations and solo work. They will blow the house down one minute and be soft as a whisper the next. 3: Dancing to the smooth sound of a Live Band The evening will conclude with the crowd dancing, or just listening to the LIVE BAND play the tunes of Tommy Dorsey, Artie Shaw, Glenn Miller and other famous bands from the Big Band era coming from a “swinging” orchestra.
