Panethnic Pourovers is a 501(c)(3) non-profit community cafe library. Our mission is to provide the surrounding community with increased access to education, resources, and art that is representative of groups and individuals in underrepresented groups. We have a focus on the Asian-American & Pacific Islander (AAPI) community but provide a safe space for individuals of all identities to find safety and solace in. We work closely with other AAPI-owned small businesses to source as many of our cafe ingredients as possible, and we also use the beverages and snacks we serve as a delicious opportunity for community education and engagement.
Our organization is Asian-owned, queer-owned, and woman-owned! 🫶 We are super passionate about making an impact on our world. Every person involved has poured their heart, soul, money, and time into making this organization a reality.
Our library program features books and resources that are freely accessible to the public, with an emphasis on AAPI-cultural and historical education! We aim to educate the community about the different types of cultures that many marginalized groups were raised in, as well as feature underrepresented authors, artists, and educators. The first-generation American experience is a tough one to navigate, filled with obstacles and challenges that we hope to provide solutions for.
