Der PanTum Detect® ist ein Krebsscreening-Bluttest zur Früherkennung von Tumoren.
Er kann mittels einer einfachen Blutentnahme bereits in frühen, symptomfreien Phasen Hinweise auf fast alle Tumorarten liefern - auch für solche, für die es heute noch keine etablierten gesetzlichen Früherkennungsangebote gibt.
Der PanTum Detect® basiert auf der EDIM®-Technologie und detektiert die Enzyme TKTL1 und DNaseX (Apo10), die bei vielen Tumoren vermehrt gebildet werden.
Der PanTum Detect® stellt keine Krebsdiagnose, sondern gibt Hinweise auf eine mögliche Krebserkrankung, die in Folgeuntersuchungen (z.B. durch bildgebende Verfahren wie MRT oder PET/CT und histopathologische Verfahren) lokalisiert und bestätigt werden können.
Der PanTum Detect® weist eine Sensitivität von 95,2% und eine Spezifität von 99,5% auf.
