Paris Mexis is a director, designer and writer working in opera, theatre, dance, cinema, television and advertisement in Europe and the USA. He was born in Athens and studied scenography in London at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design (BA Theatre: Design for Performance, MA Scenography) and Prague at Divadelni fakulta Akademie Muzickych Umeni [DAMU] (Opera Design), interior design at the Athenian Artistic and Technological Group (AKTO) and at the Middlesex University (BA Interior Design, Prize for Outstanding Performance in 1998 and 1999) and music at the Exemplary Experimental Conservatory in Athens.
