Under the visionary leadership and direction of Rick D. Senft, PDC Pharmacy was established in 2000 by Passavant Memorial Homes (PMH), a non-profit human services provider. PDC Pharmacy was originally developed to provide quality pharmaceutical services to the 800+ individuals that PMH now serves. PDC Pharmacy’s core market is serving individuals in the Intellectual Disabilities Community. Our entire pharmacy offering is tailored towards the needs of these individuals. Since PDC Pharmacy understands the needs of these communities; we ensure that the right medication gets to the right person at the right time, while assuring that the correct payer is billed. As simple as this process may seem, this practice has proven to be a challenge for traditional pharmacies to accomplish. We understand that specialized labeling, packaging, dispensing, billing and delivery options, as well as, innovative technologies including FrameworkLink and MedSupport (eMAR) create value for our customers. PDC Pharmacy currently serves over 5,000 individuals, in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, as well as, the State of Colorado. We service all of Pennsylvania from our pharmacies located in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. “Quality is our focus” is not only our tag line, but the credo by which we operate on a daily basis. Our ultimate goal is to ensure consumer safety through working towards no medication errors. Over the past Fiscal Year, we filled over 583,000 prescriptions with a 99.99% medication accuracy rate, which translates to less than one medication error for every 10,000 prescriptions filled. Though the pharmacy service continues to expand, we have not grown so large as to lose the personalized, customer oriented, and quality-driven service that began over a decade ago.
