Pecunia Causa is de studenten beleggingsvereniging van Nijmegen. De vereniging is in september 2009 opgericht door een enthousiast clubje economen voor alle Nijmeegse studenten met affiniteit voor de beleggingswereld.
Wij stellen ons tot doel om de theorie van de colleges te combineren met de praktijk van de beleggingswereld om zo studenten beter voor te bereiden op een toekomst in de financiële sector of het bedrijfsleven. Door middel van bijeenkomsten met presentaties, die door leden worden voorbereid, wordt beslist welke aandelen worden toegevoegd aan ons portfolio en welke aandelen worden verkocht. Door studenten deze presentaties zelf te laten voorbereiden en (des-)investeringsbeslissingen te laten maken met echt geld worden de leden geprikkeld om gefundeerd onderzoek te doen.
