En 1993 se crea PER SYSTEMS S.A., como resultado de la transformación de la antigua empresa Jorge Machado S.A., que desde 1982 se dedicó al desarrollo de aplicaciones de software para PCs.
En 1986, Jorge Machado, presidente del directorio de las citadas empresas inicia sus investigaciones sobre los virus informáticos debido a su parición.
Paralelamente a las investigaciones y desarrollo de un software antivirus, en 1987 la empresa introduce al mercado nacional aplicaciones de gestión comercial. En 1991 con la aparición de los primeros virus peruanos PER ANTIVIRUS se convierte en la solución integral para los virus locales, además de los extranjeros.
