جمعية المدربين الفلسطينيين هي جمعية (غير ربحية) تأسست بموجب قانون (الجمعيات) الذي تـعـمـل بـه دولــة فلسطين وصـدر قــرار بــتــرخـيـصـهـا من قبل وزارة الداخلية بــتـــاريــخ 16/3/2015 ، والعضوية متاحة فيها للأفراد والمؤسسات المهتمة بالتدريب. يتم إدارتها من قبل مجلس إدارة منتخب لمدة عامين، وقد جرت أول انتخابات للمجلس في حزيران 2016
تعمل الجمعية مهتدية برؤيتها المتمثلة في منظومة تدريب فلسطينية بجودة عالمية، أما رسالتها فهي جمعية فلسطينية تعمل على تنظيم التدريب ورفع كفاءة وفاعلية أداء العاملين الأفراد والمؤسسات في مجالات التدريب وتنمية الموارد البشرية وفق المواصفات والمعايير العالمية.
وتركز أهداف الجمعية على الارتقاء بنوعية التدريب وتنظيمه، وتطوير كفايات المدربين المحليين بما يتوافق مع معايير الجودة في التدريب، إضافة إلى تقديم الاستشارات والدراسات والأبحاث في مجالات التدريب ومستجداته
وتسترشد الجمعية بمجموعة من المبادئ التوجيهية، وهي: العمل وفق أفضل الممارسات في مجال الاستشارة والتدريب وتنمية الموارد البشرية، وإطلاق طاقات الأعضاء والمختصين في مجال التدريب وتقديم الدعم الممكن لهم، والانفتاح على الخبرات والتجارب العربية والعالمية، وبناء شراكات مع مؤسسات عربية ودولية تعنى بمجال التدريب
من أهم الأنشطة التي تعكف الجمعية حاليا على التخطيط لتنفيذها في أب 2018 هو منتدى ليومين تحت عنوان: "المنتدى الفلسطيني للارتقاء بجودة التدريب" والذي يهدف إلى: تحسين جودة التدريب من خلال التشارك في المعرفة والخبرة والممارسات الفضلى في مجال التدريب. وسيتكون المنتدى من مجموعة من الفعاليات: أهمها جلسات لنقاش أوراق عمل، وورشات عمل متزامنة، وندوات، ومعارض للخدمات والبرامج التدريبية. أما المحاور التي سيركز عليها المنتدى فهي:
1. واقع ومستقبل التدريب في فلسطين
2. توجهات حديثة ومبدعة ومنهجيات معاصرة في التدريب
3. العلاقة بين التدريب والتنمية المستدامة
4. التعليم والتدريب المهني والتقني في فلسطين
