Petrel Group is a heavy, medium and light precision Mechanical Engineering company with integrated design, manufacturing and maintenance facilities. It has a proud 70+ years of history in the manufacturing industry with may flag ship projects completed successfully.
We have a competent design team based locally and is supported by our overseas back office of highly experienced and skilled engineers who are driven by technological , innovation and efficiency improvements globally.
Our two main fabrication facilities are based in the ASEZ in Atlantis, Capetown, and in Kingsburgh, Durban. These facilities are equipped with heavy CNC and conventional machining, overhead cranes, heavy fabrication equipment and competent resources.
Our Industrial Coating business, Romotas, is also located in our Durban fabrication workshop and is also equipped with a site base team.
We are supported by our foundry, Steloy Foundries located in Bronkhorstspruit, Gauteng which has a 6t melting capacity furnaces.
The Petrel Group is integrated with support from our other business units, LVSA Group, Romotas, TVM, Steloy Foundries and present a total solutions driven service to our clients.
We have an experienced Project Management Team always assuring our clients the best service.
