The Beta Lambda Chapter of Phi Delta Chi was chartered on January 12, 1991. Beta Lambda's first Worthy Chief Counselor was Todd Troxell and the first Worthy Vice Counselor was Alexis Cruz as well as 14 others were initiated. Before Beta Lambda was officially chartered, our Chapter was called the Beta Lambda Colony.
In 1996, the Beta Lambda Chapter won the Thurston Cup also known as the Emory W. Thurston Grand President's Award. It is given to the Chapter that fully promoted the profession of pharmacy and Phi Delta Chi in the preceding year.
