PIRaNaS brings like minded people from the University of Canberra together and provides them with a network and forum to discuss issues relating to Politics, International Relations and National Security. The primary objectives of the PIRaNaS Student Association are: i) provide a forum for members to discuss and develop an active interest in issues related to politics, international relations and national security. ii) develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationships between PIRaNaS, the student body, the Faculty of Business, Government and Law and other organisations with related interests. iii) encourage and reward high achievement in the study of politics, international relations and national security through the promotion of undergraduate and postgraduate degrees offered by the University of Canberra. iv) provide relevant information regarding career paths and offer professional development opportunities. v) foster and promote academic, social and competitive interaction between members.
