Positive Futures Group is a multi-award-winning* charity that has been working in London since 2004. We facilitate learning, seminars, workshops, activities and forums that empower young people in London to access wider social and educational opportunity.
To fulfil our vision of maximising human potential, we also have a presence in Africa where a local coordinator supports 50 orphans and street children with education kits and health access each year.

Our Impact and What We Do
So far this year, we have delivered numerous youth development projects, including
• An interactive session called Positive Self-Talk for Young People (aged 10 to 17) that focused on developing healthy self-esteem.
• A Study Skills workshop to help our beneficiaries during the period of social isolation with a structured development experience especially when they have to study more on their own.
• Problem Gambling Awareness Workshop.
• Speak Up Speak Out event – to give young people a safe space to talk about their own experiences and how they feel about current social issues.
• ‘Who Am I’ - to help young people identify and improve their self-esteem and how they deal with peer pressure.
In 2019, we also delivered, amongst several others:
• 40 young people benefitted from improved understanding in core subjects from attending 20 weekly Maths/English sessions.
• 36 young people learnt to play one musical instrument for 12 weeks to bridge a learning gap, helping the beneficiaries to also improve their self-confidence.
We have delivered and achieved significant success with our young people in the UK; some participants have even progressed to Cambridge and Russell Group Universities.
