Die PRAXIS EDV-Betriebswirtschaft- und Software-Entwicklung AG wurde 1989 in Baden-Württemberg gegründet. Seit 1997 richtet sich der Fokus zunehmend auf die Branchensoftware WDV2020, und nunmehr deren Nachfolger WDV2024 TEAM für die Schüttgut- und Veredelungsbranche.
Diese Software umfasst die Geschäftsprozessintegration von der Ausschreibung bis zur Kostenrechnung, Betriebsdatenerfassung und Terminal-Verwiegung. Dazu kommt seit 2011 die IT-Automation und Managed Services von IT-Infrastrukturen für die Anwender der Software. Im Jahre 2012 ist der PxDigiStift© als ergänzendes Erfassungsinstrument eine Bereicherung für alle EDV-Anwender - dies völlig branchenneutral und bereichsübergreifend. Im Jahre 2013 wurde die softwaregestützte Baustellenlogistik mit BaustellenApp und LeanManagement entwickelt. Bau-Unternehmen im Asphalteinbau und Zulieferwerke werden erstmalig datenseitig vollkommen automatisiert vernetzt. Damit ist PRAXIS das erste deutsche Unternehmen, welches diese zukunftsorientierte Vision verfolgt. Wichtig ist hierbei die Schließung von immer größer werdenden Bedarfslücken: IT-Prozess-Automation in zunehmend homogenen und komplexen IT-Infrastrukturen bei mittelständischen Unternehmen zu einem bezahlbaren Preis.
Das nunmehr 35-köpfige Team ist der Schlüssel zum Erfolg und immer neuen Innovationen in den Branchen der Kies-, Sand-, Steine-, Erden-, Asphalt-, Transportbeton- und Baustoff-Recycling-Unternehmen und deren Werken, sowie den Bau-Unternehmen im Tief- und Straßenbau. Die Vernetzung der PRAXIS Software AG selbst mit den Branchenverbänden und Institutionen sichert das frühestmögliche Integrieren von Vorschriften und spezifischen Parametern in die Branchen-Anwendungen - und damit hohe Investitionssicherheit für die Kunden.
Mit über 3.500 Anwendern gehört in der Branchensoftware-Entwicklung WDV20xx für die Schütt-, Veredelungs- und Baustoff- Industrie zu den Marktführern.
