Pregras is sinds jaren dé specialist voor graszaadproductie in België en meer bepaald in de productie en de verwerking van zaden van Engels, Italiaans en Westerwolds raaigras.
De ontvangst en het drogen alsook de triage van de zaden gebeurt in Zevekote (Gistel). Het graszaad vertrekt nadien naarzowel binnenlandse als buitenlandse klanten.
Pregras contracteert jaarlijks bij +/- 200 graszaadvermeerderaars, voornamelijk gevestigd in de West-Vlaamse polder alsook in Oost-Vlaanderen en Wallonië. Bij ons werken vier personen, waarvan drie teeltbegeleiders, aangevuld met tijdelijke arbeidskrachten. Het vermeerderingsareaal bestaat hoofdzakelijk uit Italiaans raaigras en een kleiner aandeel Engels raaigras en Westwolds raaigras.
