PrepaidWealth.com will get you to make money from the airtime, data and other services that you consume and/or sell from the web app www.prepaidwealth.com. You can consume these services as a group or as an individual. If you consume the services as a group, the profits that you accumulate from buying the services will be allocated to the group. The profits can be withdrawn in cash once your group account has a balance of at least R200 in accumulated discounts. The discounts received vary from 1.5% to 9.5% and therefore you can assume an average discount rate of 5%. Your group will keep 80% of the average 5% discount rate and the other 20% will be kept by PrepaidWealth.com. If for example, your group (such as your Stokvel) has 10 members who spend an average of R500 on data and airtime, your group will be making a minimum average of R2,400 per year from members just consuming services from the platform. Your group can also make more money by selling services to people who are not in your group. If each member can sell an average of R500 worth of services to members of their families, friends and public, the group will make an average of R4,800 per year. This can be enough for a year-end party for 10 people.
Alternatively, you can consume the services individually where you will not accumulate discounts but rather get the vouchers at a discount. For example, you can get a R30 voucher at approximately R27 to consume yourself or to sell for R30 and make R3 immediately. This is ideal for entrepreneurs who have identified the market or for formal entrepreneurs such as spaza shop.
If you are an individual who wants to accumulate discounts instead of selling for profit or consuming at a discount, simply register to be a group account holder and don’t send the group ID out for others to join. When you consume or sell your data or airtime the discounts will be accumulated and you will be able to withdraw when the accumulated discounts are over R200.
