Das Vorhaben "preserve4future" entwickelt ein innovatives Konzept zur Potentialentfaltung des akademischen Nachwuchses in der Restaurierung und Denkmalpflege und zur Stärkung dessen Praxiskompetenzen.
In Zusammenarbeit mit verschiedenen Akteuren aus Forschungseinrichtungen, Ausbildungsstätten, Wirtschaft, Eigentümern historischer Bausubstanz und deren Verwaltungen sollen Organisationsstrukturen zu einem internationalen und interdisziplinären Verbund entstehen.
Durch den fachlichen und kulturellen Austausch entstehen Dynamiken und Synergieeffekte, welche neben der Nachwuchsförderung auch zum Erhalt und Sichtbarmachung der historischen Bausubstanz beitragen.
Den Studierenden wird die Möglichkeit gegeben, ihr theoretisches Wissen am Kulturgut anzuwenden und Praxiserfahrungen zu sammeln. Die berufsethischen Grundsätze und die Qualität der Ausführung wird durch die facherübergreifende Zusammenarbeit gesichert.

“preserve4future” develops the basic structure to found an interdisciplinary working international organization which supports young academics in their conservation career.
The innovative concept strives to unfold the potential of young academics in restoration and monument preservation and aims to strengthening their practical skills.
In collaboration with various participants from research institutions, education centers, conservation businesses, owners of historical buildings and their administrations, the basic network structures shall be created.
The professional and cultural exchange within this network creates dynamics and synergy effects which, in addition to promoting young talents, also contribute to the conservation and visibility of historic heritage.
Students are given the opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge to heritage objects and gain practical experience. The professional ethical principles and the quality of execution are ensured through interdisciplinary cooperation.
