Prismannticca is a studio for sustainable redesign, environmental crafts, and interactive installations, created through up-cycling, art & science. The project aims to impact and raise awareness about environmental, social, and employment gaps, using creative upcycling of potential waste and new approaches towards existing issues. Focused on creating products and services that decrease the levels of waste produced by several industries, while at the same time helps and inspires people by the creation of extraordinary design approaches and creative jobs, the studio currently makes kaleidoscopes from recyclable and non-recyclable waste such as mirrors, glass, cardboard, mixed with natural materials such as crystals, cork, and dried flowers. Future products and services will include mosaics and vitrages made from sea-glass, tales and cork The Hub Studio Prismannticca is a globally oriented project, and as such, aims to involve the world. The unlimited design options and various waste materials allow the project to be a scene for craftsmen, authors, and artists from a wide range, and from various cultural backgrounds & places. The production lab were the magic will be happening will be providing temporary but highly paid art therapy jobs with impact purposes, offered to people with victims of domestic violence, people with disabilities, and elderly people with unique skills. The idea is to set a new standard in social help and recycling, and to give an example that art therapy jobs exist and they can also be well paid. This model aims to provide support to people in difficult situation to feel confident and financially independent again (ex. divorce, loss of a job, accident.,etc), and to give an example that such a workshop model is possible to function and more places and institutions should adopt it
