Paddentrek Potmarge is a Toads on Roads Group that supports amphibians with crossing the road in the Potmarge in Leeuwarden, the Netherlands.
(NL) De Paddentrek Potmarge werkt officieel onder de naam PAD (Potmarge Amfibieën Doelgroep) al sinds 2012 bij de Potmarge in Leeuwarden om amfibieën veilig te helpen oversteken tijdens hun jaarlijkse trek.
Het idee ontstond tijdens de trek in 2011, toen het de Van Hall Larenstein studenten Tariq Stark en Carlijn Laurijssen opviel hoeveel salamanders er in de Potmarge werden aangereden en er niets tegen werd gedaan. Zij stichtten in het seizoen van 2012 PAD op, in samenwerking met andere studenten, Van Hall Larenstein en gemeente Leeuwarden.
PAD richt zich niet alleen op het helpen van de amfibieën maar ook op educatie voor studenten, leerlingen en buurtbewoners.
