Project Pamoja is coming together to promote sportsmanship and learning on and off the field. Our youth sports programs will include club teams, camps and clinics for ages 3 and up, but the Pamoja community is more than sport. Students involved in the programs can opt to join a basketball or football team in addition to spending time in our choice-driven learning environment during after school hours.
In our afterschool safe space for emotional enrichment, we are committed to age-appropriate instruction making both sports and learning fun for kids and families. Our goal is to provide opportunities for kids to participate in their own growth, make their own choices, and collaborate with others. This focus on empowering children allows intellectual curiosity and social responsibility to develop and blossom. Together we will grow to become ethical citizens and compassionate leaders. Project Pamoja “Playas” will have ample time and space for safe open-ended exploration in our richly varied environment. Using building blocks of social emotional learning we support scaffolding for conflict resolution, love and kindness. Each student will have work jobs that they complete each day as everyone will be a part of the community and responsible for cleaning up together, truly building a community.
