Project HOPE e.V. wurde 1996 gegründet und ist autonomer Bestandteil des weltweiten HOPE Netzwerkes.
Das Engagement von Project HOPE aus Deutschland heraus fokussiert sich insbesondere auf den Aufbau eines leistungsfähigen Gesundheitswesens in den Ländern Osteuropas. So ist es seit Gründung des deutschen Vereins gelungen, dass mit Projekten von Debrecen in Ost-Ungarn über Brasov in Rumänien und Bãlţi in der Republik Moldau bis zu Skopje, Tetovo, Kumanovo und Strumica in Nordmazedonien die Gesundheitsversorgung von Müttern und Kindern signifikant verbessert wurde und viele Leben gerettet werden konnten. Ein weiteres langfristiges Projekt ist in den Kriegsgebieten der Ukraine geplant, um vor Ort beim Wiederaufbau der medizinischen Infrastruktur mitzuhelfen.
Allen Unterstützern von Project HOPE ist es wichtig, dass Spenden ankommen und nachhaltige Erfolge bringen. Sie vertrauen Project HOPE, weil Effizienz und Qualitätskontrolle Grundprinzipien des Handels sind. So garantiert Project HOPE, dass über 90% der Spenden direkt in die Programme fließen.
