The Projeto Connect initiative founds its purpose in the inclusion of immigrants in the Brazilian labour market and in the promotion of cultural diversity in business environments. As a university extension program associated with the Sergio Vieira de Mello Chair (UNHCR), we seek to reduce the barriers that refugees face to get into the Brazilian labour market through the hard work of Unicuritiba's students and partnerships with local companies and NGOs. To achieve that, we support immigrants professional development by mapping their profiles and building individualized résumés, offering interview preparation courses and professional training workshops, as well as directing them to our partners' selection processes and to talent pools.
