Propulsion Engineering provides advice and expertise for naval propulsion, headed by two engineers, recognized experts in naval propulsion in Naval Group (ex DCNS) and the French Navy, with a 25 years long experience and a large competence network which allows us to meet the expectations of our customers.
The field of work is dedicated to thermal engines and associated components (gearboxes, shaft bearings, propellers…) for naval propulsion (yachting, merchant ships, ferries…) and also power generators for marine or industrial (power plant, nuclear plant, train, etc.) applications with services ranging:
- One-off expertise: borescope inspection, vibration analysis, exhaust gas analysis for an attractive price
- Technical Experts as specialist advisors for litigation
- On-line monitoring system thanks to our revolutionary real-time diagnostic tools which are guarantees of significant costs benefits for reliability, efficiency, consumption and gas emissions. As a real innovation, using speed sensors, our Vibox puts into practice the science of acyclisms for the benefit of the health diagnosis of thermal engines and all rotating machines. Initially developed for Formula 1 engines, this technology offers to the maritime industry the way to navigate in all serenity, preserving the material and planning the interventions only necessary.
However, our Vibox is able to offer a vibration diagnosis using accelerometric sensors.
But because our reason for existing is innovation, our technology adds a real-time diagnosis of the vibratory state translated into mechanical health indicators.
No need to wait for the vibration analysis report to rule on the health of a rotating machine, thus reducing the tests necessary to deal with a technical fact.
Based in the Côte d'Azur, member of the Riviera Yachting Network and the Pôle Mer Méditerranée, we are working with the most famous actors of the maritime, yachting and energy industries.
We speak French, English and Italian.
