Prosearch Utility Engineering has operated throughout NSW and Canberra since 2017. Our company currently employs 9 staff specialising in locating, surveying, mapping and excavation. As of the last six months the bulk of our works have been for major government infrastructure projects as well as design for proposed infrastructure. Prosearch Utility Engineering is a recognised service provider of AS5488-2013 through the DBYD Certified Locator program as well as the National Utility Locating Contractors Association (NULCA). Prosearch Utility Engineering’s locating section can identify a large range of buried assets to better assist for safer ground penetrations with the use of our industry leading equipment. All staff have the latest model of RD8100 electromagnetic induction (EMI) transmitter and receiver as well as the recently developed Leica DS2000 (GPR). Through the combined use of these, Prosearch can find both inductive and non-inductive assets prior to excavation commencing. In addition to this we also offer an award winning and industry leading mapping package that can provide 12 types of asset attributes per point. This largely reduces and future need for re-investigation especially when linked to our online accessible cloud that contains photos that are linked to individual survey points. Our excavation capabilities include non-destructive digging (vac-truck) and range of machinery from 5t through to 23t which are operated by a member of our team who has located the area prior to penetration. This greatly reduces the risk of damaged services as a knowledge and experience bank of the assets in the area have already been professionally attained by the certified locator/operator.
