Zaakvoerder Frederic Croske startte in 2007 als relatiebeheerder bij Delta Llloyd Bank, maar richtte toen zijn eigen kantoor Proxilife op in 2010 samen met Geert Pyck.

Echtgenote Liesbeth Debeuf kwam erbij in 2015. Zij staat in voor het onthaal en de administratie.
Proxilife is een onafhankelijk, familiaal kantoor dat behoort tot de FRNDS-makelaarsgroepering. Een 40-tal Vlaamse onafhankelijke verzekeringsmakelaars hebben zich verenigd onder de naam FRNDS om zo schaalgrootte te creëren. Zaakvoerder Frederic is medeoprichter van FRNDS.
De makelaars werken onafhankelijk van elkaar, maar kunnen bij de maatschappijen betere tarieven afdwingen door deze groepering en vormen eveneens een lerend netwerk.
