In Psychoanalytisch Centrum West werken psychoanalytici en psychoanalytisch psychotherapeuten met elkaar samen om de kwaliteit en beschikbaarheid van de psychoanalytische behandeling in de provincie Zuid-Holland te garanderen. Als psychoanalytische behandelaren willen we graag onze klinische kennis en kunde delen met andere GGZ-collega’s en met GGZ-opleidelingen. Dit doen we onder andere door het organiseren van refereeravonden voor GGZ-professionals, het jaarlijks aanbieden van een Klinisch Seminar voor GGZ-collega’s, het realiseren van opleidingsplaatsen en door het aanbieden van supervisie en collegiaal consult.
Tenslotte vestigen we incidenteel ook de aandacht op toepassingen van het psychoanalytisch gedachtengoed. Zo organiseren we bijvoorbeeld filmavonden, waarbij er vanuit een psychoanalytische invalshoek een inleiding bij de film wordt verzorgd met aansluitend gelegenheid tot nabespreking.
