Welcome to Pump Keg, where nostalgia meets innovation. After 2 decades swirling, sipping, & discussing tannins, terroir & vintage in the wine industry, I decided it was time for a change. I ventured into the world of tequila. My new world consisted of non-stop batching fresh margaritas for festivals & distributor meetings, where fast, consistent & delicious (spicy) margaritas were in high demand.
I was introduced to a 4 liter, mini beer growler keg that used a complicated CO2 tap adapter to dispense NON-carbonated cocktails. It was great—until it wasn’t. While wine was easy to pour at events, I couldn’t shake the feeling something was missing in the margarita/cocktail industry...
There was an obvious need for a new type of cocktail container that didn’t rely on CO2. Everyone used glass jars & threw away leftovers. I needed something better, without complicated setups or non-reusable CO2 cartridges (plus, I wasn’t making sparkling margaritas—though that sounds amazing). After all, 9 out of the top 10* cocktails in the WORLD are NON-carbonated (Aperol Spritz).
And just like that, the Pump Keg was born. Inspired by my college days, I integrated the classic pump system. That’s the magic we’ve captured—with a modern twist. Pump Keg never needs CO2, & if you have leftovers, just remove the tap & set aside. Pump Keg doesn't need a pesky lid. The Pump Keg system is self-sealing, so oxygen stays out, keeping your cocktails fresh well for over a month. Additionally, Pump Keg doesn't use plastic tubes inside that easily mildew like beer growler kegs. Those tubes need consistent cleaning if not constant replacing otherwise they're prone to mildew (quite easily)! All components are stainless steel & so easy to clean.
