The UMass Lowell Pair-up Program was founded BY students and FOR students. The reason we started such journey is because we believe the betterment of mankind should be achieved by understanding and empowerment through EACH OTHER. And we believe that it is vital to inspire and enable our younger generations because they all have this intrinsic desire to be great and make the difference. In order to do that, they need to SEE the world with their own eyes first and then they can UNDERSTAND what they saw. With both the experience and understanding, they will have a deeper knowledge of the people and the world, which will help them MAKEING a POSITIVE IMPACT one day.
Our mission is to:
1,help International Students overcome language barrier and blend into American culture for a better study experience and achieve success;
2,help Domestic Students gain insights into different cultural values and world views, and ready themselves for a globalized working environment;
3, introduce cultural inclusiveness into the UMass Lowell community.
