QUALIVINO is een verhaal van wijnmeesters die authentieke wijnen vervaardigen in het Zuidwesten van Frankrijk. Al drie generaties brengen we dit samen met een uniek gamma van andere karaktervolle wijnen uit diverse Europese wijnregio’s.
De wijnhandel werd opgericht door Albert SOMERS in 1953 en kende sindsdien een rijke geschiedenis. Doorheen de verschillende generaties is QUALIVINO een vaste waarde geworden op de Belgische wijnmarkt, waar steeds de kwaliteit en de authenticiteit van de wijnen centraal staan. In 1994 werd de beslissing genomen om een eigen wijnproductie uit te bouwen door zijn zoon Patrick Somers. Het wijndomein Château Les Donats werd een gevestigde waarde in de regio van Bergerac en groeide ondertussen uit tot 20 hectares wijngaard op de mooiste terroirs van deze wijnregio.
Momenteel nam de derde generatie het roer over onder leiding van Olivier Verhelst met nieuwe inzichten en concepten.
